Responsibilities

You will conceptualise and support the implementation of policies and projects to support businesses in improving their labour productivity, as part of the national industry transformation effort. This includes:

·        Working with government agencies and the private sector to increase digitalisation and technology adoption, and upgrade workforce capabilities, within and across major industry clusters.

·        Evaluating project and funding proposals to support businesses in productivity improvement initiatives.

·        Monitoring and reviewing the effectiveness of policies and schemes that impact productivity.

·        Analysing global and domestic productivity trends with public sector economists, and benchmarking Singapore against global best practices.

 

Requirements


You should have/be:

 

·        a university degree;

·        a self-starter and team player, with excellent communication, negotiation and project management skills;

·        prior experience in formulating and reviewing public policies and running inter-agency projects would be advantageous; and

·        comfortable with numerical and trend analysis, and have a basic understanding of economics concepts.
