As an MOH officer, you will be involved in formulating and implementing policies that guide Singapore’s healthcare ecosystem. You will work alongside a team with varied skills and backgrounds, but with the common goals of (i) promoting good health and reducing illnesses; (ii) ensuring that Singaporeans have access to good and affordable healthcare; and (iii) pursuing medical excellence. Your work will have far-reaching impact on the health and lives of Singaporeans.

Responsibilities

Agency for Care Effectiveness (ACE) is a new division established as part of the Health Performance Group in the Ministry of Health to drive the delivery of clinically effective and cost-effective care for Singaporeans through the use of health technology assessment (HTA) and appraisals.

You will oversee the implementation ACE’s guidance, such as coordination and engagement of internal partners for process/policy development, and external stakeholders for the adoption of HTA outputs. You will also be responsible for supporting Head (Planning & Policy) as part of the team in the development, planning and implementation of policies and processes which contribute to achieving the strategic objectives of ACE.

Requirements

  • Degree in any field, preferably in healthcare or science
  • At least 6-8 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organisational ability and planning skills
  • Strong Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well with others and build networks, and manage conflicts
