Overview of Job:

Formulation, review, and implementation of programmes relating to financial education for key target segments (e.g. children/youth, young adults, general public)


Job Responsibilities:

You will assist in the design, implementation, and review of a Whole-of-Government national programme to improve the financial well-being of Singaporeans.  In particular, you will be responsible for formulating the outreach strategy for key target segments (e.g. children/youth, young adults, general public). You will identify key focus areas and plan the strategic direction for these programmes, including developing outreach and engagement initiatives for this group; communications plans for broader outreach, conduct research, as well as monitor, benchmark and analyse programme key performance indicators to facilitate their review.

You will work closely with other government agencies such as the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, organising committees, as well as institutions such as the polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education to develop and implement the financial well-being programmes. You will also be responsible for developing partnerships and seeking consensus with non-government stakeholders such as community organisations, to support the overall outreach and engagement strategy for children, youth and young adults. You will also provide staffing support for various financial education fora.


Job Requirements:

  • Background in any discipline. Prior experience in outreach/engagement will be given additional consideration
  • Strong interest in personal finance and social policies 
  • Good communicator with strong interpersonal and leadership skills who can forge effective partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong project management, writing and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and resourceful; ability to work independently and in a team.
