The Clinical and Forensic Psychology Service provides specialized psychological services to children, youth and families in the areas of abuse and trauma recovery and forensic mental health. If you have an interest in working with children, youth and families with complex emotional and behavioural needs arising from child abuse/trauma, come join our team of dynamic and passionate professionals.

Reporting to the Senior Principal Clinical Psychologist, this is a managerial position where you will be overseeing a team of psychologists in the provision of specialized psychological services to children and families impacted by trauma and abuse.  You will be working closely with internal and external community partners to develop and provide services that are tailored to clients’ and agencies’ needs.  Knowledge and experience in child maltreatment and trauma is essential, and you will also have strong interpersonal, collaboration, and team management skills.  Good strategic planning and decision making, and stakeholder engagement skills are also required.

Masters/Doctorate/PhD degree in Clinical Psychology, with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience and experience in managing a team.  Experience in clinical settings, as well as knowledge of the wider community and social sector services will be an advantage. The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills, and be able to work in a multidisciplinary team.
