Its core functions include ensuring food safety, ensuring resilience in food supply, safeguarding animal and plant health, safeguarding animal welfare, promoting agrotechnology, investing in research and development and protecting endangered wildlife.

 
Purpose of Job
To assist in the administrative functions of Animal Management Group.

Duties

Position (1)
-Handle procurement of goods and services and liaise with contractors/vendors on procurement and/or payment matters, including processing of payments
-Maintain database for proper monitoring and tracking of payments
-Assist in the collation of data for finance related management reports
-Perform secretarial duties to Group Director, such as upkeep calendar and arrange for meetings; monitor follow-up from meetings and mails; handling enquiries and requests, and liaising with staff from relevant Groups/Departments, when  appropriate, etc
-Provide administrative support to the Group. This could include arranging for meetings and draft notes of proceedings, scanning/printing, e-filing, etc.
-Provide support for the admin team in various initiatives and collaborative work with others.


Position (2)
-Manage the Group’s fixed assets and maintain inventory.
-Maintenance of office premises (e.g. attending to reports received on office doors not working, air-cons malfunctioned, etc.)
-Manage Group’s corporate vehicles and track mileage
-Assist in the procurement process of the Group’s office supplies
-Carry out invoicing and other financial processes.
-Collation of reports and statistics for management reporting.
-Manage the Group’s staff-related including maintaining records, training, courier and mail services matters.
-Provide administrative support to the Group. This could include in arranging for meetings and draft notes of proceedings, scanning/printing, e-filing, etc.
-Provide support for the admin team in various initiatives and collaborative work with others.
 
Requirements
-A Polytechnic Diploma in any discipline.
-Good verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-Resourceful and with good organizational skills.
-Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
