As a statutory board in the Ministry of Communications and Information, IMDA promotes and regulates the infocomm and media sectors.

We are looking for passionate individuals to join IMDA's Human Capital Development division to develop a globally competitive tech talent pool in Singapore for the vibrant ICT industry. The incumbent will be part of the team supporting the TechSkills Accelerator (TeSA) initiative and will play the following roles:

Responsibilities:

Development of initiatives and programmes

  • Work with various government agencies to conceptualise and develop relevant TeSA programmes and initiatives, targeted at mid-career PMETs
  • Engage external stakeholders, e.g. companies and trade associations, to validate programmes and initiatives
  • Secure management approvals for proposals, including the preparation and presentation of proposal

Programme management

  • Lead in engaging industry players and key hirers to join TeSA programmes for mid-career PMETs
  • Work with agencies and partners to monitor trainees in ensuring that they complete their training as set out in the projects approved
  • Work with agencies, industry partners and companies to facilitate and track placements of mid-career PMETs
  • Manage and track programmes and project deliverables, budgets and reporting
  • Periodically review the efficacy of programmes and propose enhancements, where applicable

Programme Outreach

  • Work with agencies, industry partners and trade associations to organise company engagement activities to promote TeSA programmes for mid-career PMETs
  • Work with agencies, industry partners and trade associations to facilitate outreach and recruitment of mid-career PMETs for TeSA programmes and initaitives
  • Work with corporate communications, management and team members to develop content for speeches, events and other promotional content.

Requirements:

  • Business, Computer Science, Engineering disciplines or equivalent.
  • 5 years of working experience
  • Able to work independently, within a team and across teams.
  • Possess good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills and be able to adapt to fast pace of work
  • Good verbal and written communications skills, including good stakeholder management skills. 

 

Position will commensurate with experience.
