The Singapore Department of Statistics is the National Statistical Authority responsible for statistics on the Singapore economy and population.

Job Description

You will be involved in the following key projects:

-          Publicity for a nationwide survey:  You will be required to undertake research, develop positive marketing communications activities and initiatives, as well as implement the planned activities and system.  You are also expected to engage, manage and coordinate with various stakeholders.

-          Organisation of meetings attended by foreign delegates:  You will participate in the planning and coordination work, as well as the execution of the assigned area of the logistics plan on the actual days of the meetings.

-          Preparation of key statistical information releases: You will be involved in work aimed at presenting and communicating statistical information to users in an effective and engaging manner.

You are also expected to undertake other areas of dissemination work, as may be required from time to time.

Job Requirements

-          Possess knowledge or experience in subjects with substantial quantitative content, e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Business Studies

-          Possess strong command of written and oral communication, and good inter-personal skills

-          Self-motivated, independent, resourceful and able to work well in a team
