Job Description

As a Research Psychologist/ Senior Research Psychologist in the Research and Management Information Division, you will be part of the dynamic team involved in psycho-educational test development and conducting applied psychological research to advance educational practice and policy formulation.  You will also lead and guide, as well as be an advocate of good practices in psychological research and test development.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Conceptualising qualitative and quantitative research studies to help stakeholders make evidence-based decisions
• Developing frameworks for psycho-educational test development
• Constructing and administering psycho-educational measures and questionnaires; and preparing test manuals
• Training school personnel and specialists on the use of tools and resources developed by the team
• Providing consultation to project owners in the Ministry on psycho-educational test development and research


Requirements

• Completed coursework in psychometrics and psychological testing
• An effective team player with strong analytical and communication skills
• A university degree in Psychology; prior working experience in research and/or psychological testing would be an advantage
