We aim to empower residents in Singapore to attain optimal health, increase the quality and years of healthy life, and prevent illnesses, disability and premature death.

To achieve this, HPB drives national health promotion and disease prevention programmes, spearheads health education initiatives and creates a supportive environment in Singapore where healthy lifestyle options are available and accessible for healthy living every day.

Do you want to make a difference to the health of Singapore's workforce? We are seeking highly-motivated, dynamic team-players to join our Workplace Health team in promoting good health among the working population.

The workplace is where most adult Singaporeans spend a majority of their day at, and is thus a key setting for health promotion. The Workplace Health and Outreach Division aims to capitalise on the influence of companies and organisations to improve their employee’s health.

To achieve our goals, we study the labour trends within Singapore and created varied solutions to empower companies and partners’ workplaces with the necessary assistance and tools they need for a healthy and productive workforce. These include creating health promoting workplace clusters among business districts, SME specific health programmes, as well as continually providing targeted interventions for mature workers. The areas of health that we focus on are obesity prevention and management, chronic disease management, mental health and smoking cessation.

The Workplace Health Planning and Strategy Department maintains an overview of the labour market and the outreach efforts to workplaces to ensure that we stay relevant to Singaporeans. We also manage key collaboration with stakeholders such as other government agencies, wellness solution providers and companies to design, market and implement impactful health promotion solutions to improve the health of the working population in Singapore. Our work also includes building the business case for health and identifying new opportunities for health promotion.

Job Objectives

  • Co-develop, implement and monitor the heath promotion solutions for stakeholders and

  • Co-drive strategic collaborations with partners to advance health promotion efforts in the workplace setting, contributing to the achievement of HPB’s goals and increasing the pervasiveness of health outreach among workers.


Job Responsibilities

  • Conceptualise and implement national-level strategies to increase the adoption of Workplace Health Promotion (WHP) programmes by employers

  • Develop strategic and sustainable partnerships and account manage these relationships to advance HPB’s health promotion efforts in the workplace setting

  • Partner other HPB divisions to leverage internal resources for better programme impact and outcome

Job Requirements

  • A good degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. business administration or any health-related discipline)

  • Prior experience in business development, research or analytics will be an advantage

  • Candidates with equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered

  • Strong partnership building and account management skills

  • Ability to appreciate business realities and relate to industry

  • Positive mindset and enjoys challenges in a fast pace environment

  • Ability to multi-task, and handle highly stressful situations and tight deadlines

  • Ability to work well in teams
