Our Defence Executive Officers (DXOs), alongside their military counterparts, play critical roles in preserving Singapore's sovereignty and stability.

You drive and lead the development and governance of risk management frameworks such as Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity (BC) for MINDEF/SAF. On this, you ensure effective management of risks in the organisation. This includes developing enterprise risk systems, capabilities and processes to ensure that relevant risks are identified, analysed and monitored, prioritising risk areas for systems review and assessment, and engaging risk owners to ensure that critical risks are addressed through appropriate strategies and actions. You also develop and maintain systems and processes to ensure that MINDEF/SAF’s overall BC readiness is maintained, oversee the implementation of BC initiatives, and conduct exercises to test the readiness of BC and disaster recovery plans. Your challenge lies in innovating and introducing enhancements to existing frameworks, systems and processes to ensure that risk management practices remain effective, meaningful and useful.

You must have a tertiary qualification, with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience in risk governance/management and managing teams. Possession of excellent leadership, strategic thinking, analytical and interpersonal skills is required.
