Workforce Singapore (WSG) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Manpower (MOM). It will oversee the transformation of the local workforce and industry to meet ongoing economic challenges.

WSG will promote the development, competitiveness, inclusiveness, and employability of all levels of the workforce. This will ensure that all sectors of the economy are supported by a strong, inclusive Singaporean core.

While its key focus is to help workers meet their career aspirations and secure quality jobs at different stages of life, WSG will also address the needs of business owners and companies by providing support to enable manpower-lean enterprises to remain competitive. It will help businesses in different economic sectors create quality jobs, develop a manpower pipeline to support industry growth, and match the right people to the right jobs


The Career Connect Group in Workforce Singapore (WSG) drives workforce centric programmes, tools and resources to strengthen jobseekers' employment outcomes and career resilience of various worker segments as well as provide career matching services to the local workforce.

To extend WSG's reach to local Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMET) jobseekers and minimise missed matches in the labour market, WSG has introduced a suite of Adapt and Grow initiatives and has expanded our overall capacity to serve local jobseekers who are unemployed and actively looking for jobs, or seeking career transitions and professional career guidance.

We are seeking to hire 1 Executive to manage the outreach and sign-ups for WSG's Career Matching Services (CMS).


1. Contact active jobseekers via phone and email to:

  • Provide information about WSG's suite of Career Matching Services including physical touch points jobseekers can approach for employment related services
  • Gather jobseekers' employment related details and key these details in WSG's system
  • Provide further follow up such as appointment dates/times etc. with jobseekers over email

2. Contact current and past jobseekers registered with WSG over phone and email to gather/follow-up on their feedback

3. Contact companies via phone and email to provide information about WSG's suite of Career Matching Services including assistance for their hiring and recruitment needs

4. Track outcomes of the above and provide regular status updates



  • GCE 'A' levels or equivalent
  • Familiar with MS Excel (filter and sort functions, basic formulas such as summation) and Outlook
  • Preferably with at least 1 year experience in call centre ops, telemarketing or cold calling
  • Good telephone etiquette with proven results of outstanding persuasion and negotiation skills to convert leads generated
  • Friendly, energetic and pleasant personality
  • Excellent communication skills and able to liaise with English speaking clients
  • Independent and fast learner
