The Central Provident Fund (CPF) is a social security savings scheme jointly supported by employees, employers and the Government. Its basic purpose is to help CPF members meet primary needs like shelter, food, clothing and health services in their old age or when they are no longer able to work. Benefits offered are to help meet one or more needs of the CPF Member in his retirement. They include withdrawals by the Member for retirement, permanent disablement, home ownership and health care. The amounts available depend on how much the Member has saved in the CPF.

The CPF Board are trustees for the CPF savings of Members. We aim to provide CPF Members, in a cost-effective manner, the widest range of quality services possible. We seek also to help employers pay CPF contributions promptly and correctly in as efficient and convenient a way as possible. Where we can, we make our assets and services available to help meet Singapore's social and economic objectives, thereby improving the quality of life of all Singaporeans and CPF Members.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive project implementations to meet their intended objectives.  The incumbent will manage and practise the various aspects of project management to ensure project deliverables are delivered on time and within budget. The various aspects of project management will include scope and timeline management, business process standardisation and harmonisation, quality management, conflict management, resource planning, cost control measures, system development methodologies, test plans development, data migration, access control and training.
  • Drive a holistic review on the adequacy of controls to improve finance and system governance through compliance review, policy formulation, process transformation and system improvements.
  • Work with the finance information users at all levels to identify and meet their respective informational requirements through various agreed channels. Develops theories, technologies and tools to enable an effective reporting framework that deliver users with accurate, relevant, timely and actionable information.
  • Plan and oversees the preparation and dissemination of project communications. Communicates the project plans and progress status with the top-level management, project sponsors, informational and application users.

Required Attributes

  • A Degree, preferably from Accountancy, Business or Finance
  • Experienced in funds management, costing and budgeting is preferred. Additional knowledge on treasury operations will be an added advantage  
  • Knowledge in SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, PS) is preferred but not compulsory
  • 2 to 5 years' relevant working experience is preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
