The Mental Health Education department addresses the challenges facing our population’s mental health with emphasis on optimising mental well-being as a primary preventive strategy, enabling individuals to reduce their risk of poor mental health and raising mental health literacy for an inclusive community. We forge collaborative relationships with agencies across sectors to promote mental well-being and share best practices. 
The candidate will be part of a dynamic team responsible for planning, designing, customising and implementing a variety of mental health education and empowerment programmes across various settings for the different target groups.  He or she will also be involved in working with various partners and stakeholders (internal/external) to drive initiatives that embraces mental well-being as a way of life. 
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement mental wellbeing strategies and programmes that are appropriate for the target groups
  • Establish strong and effective partnerships with various internal and external stakeholders to increase the mental health literacy of the population
  • Review and develop resources that promote mental wellbeing
  • Lead a small team of managers and executives to achieve the targets for the mental health education team
  • Identify opportunities to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Job Requirements 
  • Possesses relevant qualifications in / experience working in in Psychology;  
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience, with at least 2 years experience in project management and implementation roles 
  • Possess experience leading a team in a fast paced work environment  
  • Strong conceptualisation and project management skills; 
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills coupled with strong negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Strong analytical skills to derive valuable insights and understanding;
  • Be results-focused, detailed-oriented, resourceful and able to learn-on-the-job quickly 
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as a team player in a cross matrix structure; 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organisation.
