Project Manager (Sensory Systems Division) -PTD

As a Project Manager, you will manage the overall project life cycle of our projects, ranging from gathering requirements, budget approval, procurement and implementation till the end of the contract. You will coordinate with users, other SPF departments, government agencies and private organisations.

You will be placed on the Home Team Specialist Scheme.



As a Project Manager, you are expected to have good project management skills, excellent technical knowledge, and be able to communicate with others proficiently. You are also expected to translate users’ operational needs into technical requirements.

You have to gain good knowledge of the project under your charge and make sound technical assessments to ensure smooth and timely project delivery. You will also conduct market research, evaluate emerging technologies and perform Proof of Concepts to assess suitability in SPF’s environment. The results of these evaluations and studies would determine the concept and technical approach for future projects.



  • Electrical and Electronics or Computer Engineering or any other related fields
  • Should have 2 years of relevant system engineering experience.
  • Preferably with experience in managing large–scale ICT projects and had previously managed a full turn-key project life-cycle.
  • Should have good working knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:
  1. Large-scale Video Surveillance System
  2. System and Network Integration
  3. Infrastructure Construction to support ICT equipment (e.g. Structures, Electrical, Network Installation, Wireless Transmission etc)
  4. Certified IT Project Manager (PMP)
  • Possesses strong communication and good interpersonal skills.
  • A strong team player who is able to work well independently with minimal supervision.
  • Meticulous in planning.
