As Manager, System Architecture, you will assist Head, System Architecture to exploit digital technologies and transform SPF’s IT Systems and infrastructure toward dovetailing with digitalisation efforts across the Singapore Police Force. You are to ensure that SPF’s Technical Architecture achieves optimum proficiency in all aspects of enterprise systems and explores cutting edge solutions that can optimise SPF’s IT systems and infrastructure. These include technologies such as cloud, containerisation, virtualisation, software-defined networks and DevOps.


You will be placed on the Home Team Specialist Scheme.



As Manager, System Architecture, you will work together with SPF units and other divisions within Police Technology Department to identify architectural gaps in order to devise and propose solutions to meet these gaps. You will develop and maintain the SPF Technical Architecture artefacts which involve defining a set of essential technology standards, hosting strategy and infrastructure planning, for ICT systems and infrastructure developed within SPF.


You will also develop technology-related policies and procedures as part of technology governance.


You will provide assessments and on using new technology platforms and assist to execute the platforms.


You may be required to perform other duties as required by Head, System Architecture.



  • A Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Communications Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 2 years of experience in IT-related fields;
  • Knowledge and experience in IT service management, software-defined networking, cloud/ virtualisation technologies and/or DevOps will be an advantage;
  • Able to think strategically and analyse complex technological issues to propose solutions on architectural gaps;
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
