As Manager, Security Support, you are responsible for ensuring design integrity and security of procedures, application and infrastructure of the Intelligence Systems Management Division's (ISMD) data centre and systems.


You will be placed on the Home Team Specialist Scheme.



As Manager, Security Support, you will provide support for maintenance systems in terms of ICT security, both physical and technical, and oversee the formulation and maintenance of relevant policies and guidelines pertaining to system accounts and access rights.


You will also provide ICT security support to projects and users, assisting projects on security aspects from planning through implementation phases and providing users technical support to ensure required solutions aligned to organisation strategies are developed.


You will also assist in ICT-related Security Incident response and may be required to assist Head, Security Support in fronting other system-related or security-related projects and assignments.



  • A Degree in Computer Studies, IT, Electronics, Communications Engineering or other equivalent degree.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in ICT project management or service delivery jobs preferably in government-related projects.
  • Sound understanding of ICT technologies, with broad and deep knowledge of ICT security, able to leverage on ICT best practices and methodologies in the delivery of governance and compliance.
  • Possessing industry certification, such as Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) or similar, or experience as an auditor or as a lead in an audited project or system will be an advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Analytical mind towards technical and operational processes, functional flow problems and innovative to think of solutions.
  • Able to perform under pressure, demonstrating resiliency, drive and level headedness.
