As a member of the Financial Information Department, you will be involved in managing the financial reporting in XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) program of ACRA and administration of financial related Companies Act applications. You should be an individual who has the passion to make a difference in the public sector, as you will help to shape the future of the corporate financial reporting landscape in Singapore.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Formulating and implementing policies and procedures to:
  • Streamline the financial reporting process, in creating a seamless filing experience for the business community to ACRA
  • Optimise the accuracy and timeliness of financial data (in XBRL) filed with ACRA
  • Managing the BizFinx system, which includes providing user requirements, conducting user acceptance testing and processing of exemption applications
  • Collaborating with stakeholders within and outside ACRA on initiatives to improve the filing experience and facilitate use of machine readable financial data in XBRL
  • Administering and reviewing policies on financial related Companies Act applications, such as applications by local and foreign companies for reliefs from requirements in the accounting standards

Requirements:

  • Professional training, preferably in disciplines such as Accountancy, Business, Finance or related fields
  • Strong analytical skills and good interpersonal skills, with a keen interest in digital technology and data analytics
  • Performance-driven, high level of enthusiasm and initiative, capable of working independently as well as in a team
