Enterprise Singapore is the new enterprise development agency formed through a merger between IE Singapore and SPRING Singapore. Enterprise Singapore will enable the growth of Singapore companies through an integrated support network to build business capabilities and access overseas markets.

Senior Development Partner / Development Partner, Scale-up Department

The Scale-up Department within Enterprise Capabilities Division is tasked to lead a new initiative to intensify the Singapore government’s efforts to grow a strong core of competitive Singapore enterprises.

You will play a key role in developing the overall strategy and executing initiatives to accelerate the growth of these enterprises. To achieve this, you will:

* Create customised scale-up programmes in collaboration with private and public sector partners to create the right environment for enterprises to successfully and sustainably scale-up;

* Be responsible for the successful implementation of scale-up programmes and initiatives including working closely with the C-suite of the companies under your charge, monitoring their progress, and conducting periodic reviews to evaluate the programmes’ impact and ensure their relevance;

* Work with companies to scale-up via merger and acquisitions (M&A) projects through strengthening their deal networks and in-house M&A capabilities. You will identify M&A targets, facilitate M&A deals through M&A brokers, investment banks and private equity firms, and implement buy-side solutions to help Singapore companies pursue their M&A plans globally;

* Work closely with key partners and agencies to ensure smooth delivery of the Department's programmes and initiatives.


We are looking for team players who have a demonstrated interest in helping companies to scale, an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent interpersonal skills to be part of our team.

You should also have:

* At least 2 years of relevant experience such as growth acceleration, business transformation, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, partnership development etc
