As a statutory board in the Ministry of Communications and Information, IMDA promotes and regulates the infocomm and media sectors.



  • Lead, develop and execute communication and marketing strategies and programmes including IMDA's own corporate channels to support IMDA’s policies, programmes and initiatives in Infocomm Media for both the local and international markets; effectively shaping IMDA and Singapore’s profile as a thought leader
  • Lead and drive the team to conceptualise, organise and deliver key campaigns and signature events, to continuously expand IMDA’s footprint as the Digital Economy lead agency 
  • Issues management involving IMDA’s policies, programmes and initiatives
  • Work across the organisation to engage both internal and external stakeholders in planning and executing communication & marketing programmes



  • About 15 years of experience in communications, including media relations, marketing communications, branding, events management, and/or digital communications; with 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience preferred
  • Tech Industry experience and/or network with journalists is an important differentiator
  • Experience in public and/or private sector communication work targeted at the consumer, government and/or industry
  • Good understanding of multi-channel communications including new media trends
  • Proven project management skills
  • Proactive self-starter with an analytical and creative mind
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Result and customer-oriented with multi-tasking capabilities


Position will commensurate with experience.
