As a statutory board in the Ministry of Communications and Information, IMDA promotes and regulates the infocomm and media sectors.



  • Lead, develop and execute communication and marketing strategies and programmes to support IMDA’s policies, programmes and initiatives in Infocomm Media for both the local and international markets; effectively shaping IMDA and Singapore’s profile as a thought leader
  • Lead and drive the team to conceptualise, organise and deliver key campaigns and events, to continuously expand IMDA’s footprint as the Digital Economy lead agency 
  • Issues management involving IMDA’s policies, programmes and initiatives
  • Work across the organisation to engage both internal and external stakeholders in planning and executing communication & marketing programmes



  • About 15 years of experience in communications, including media relations, marketing communications, branding, events management, and/or digital communications; with 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience preferred
  • Tech Industry experience and/or network with journalists is an important differentiator
  • Experience in public and/or private sector communication work targeted at the consumer, government and/or industry
  • Good understanding of multi-channel communications including new media trends
  • Proven project management skills
  • Proactive self-starter with an analytical and creative mind
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Result and customer-oriented with multi-tasking capabilities


Position will commensurate with experience.
