The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS), a statutory board under the Ministry of Law since April 2001, is the lead government agency that advises on and administers intellectual property (IP) laws, promotes IP awareness and provides the infrastructure to facilitate the development of IP in Singapore.

We are looking for candidates who are able to carry out independent research and prepare quality reports for senior management. He/she should have an interest to undertake research on patents, designs and plant varieties issues affecting Singapore and the wider region. Final-year undergraduates with prior experience in research and dissertation writing preferred but candidates with related credentials would also be considered. 

The candidate will also be required to perform regular environmental scan of developments in the global IP landscape and identify major policy initiatives in the area of patents, designs and plant varieties.
