The appointee will be part of the Finance team which is responsible for a wide spectrum of accounting and administrative functions. He/she will be responsible for duties primarily related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Finance Related Areas for SP’s Continuous Education Training (CET).


  • Supervise and provide guidance to a team of staff in processing payments, invoices and other related finance areas
  • Monitoring and ensuring all aspects of the payment cycle are accomplished in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Ensuring all aspects of the invoicing cycle are accomplished in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with financial policies and procedure
  • Review current workflows and processes with a view to streamline and oversee enhancement projects, e.g. on digitalisation and cashless initiatives 
  • Liaise with Funding Agencies on finance matters relating to CET
  • Assisting in forecasting and budgeting for CET courses
  • Preparation of Management and Financial reports to Senior Management on the performance of CET Business
  • Management of assets records and related processes
  • Review and update accounts payables, receivables and assets policies and procedures
  • Review, streamline and improve finance processes


  • Minimally 6 years’ of relevant working experience in finance or accounting sector
  • Relevant qualifications in Accountancy or Business Administration
  • Proficient in PC skills including MS Office applications and Oracle accounting systems
  • Good team player who is mature, self-motivated, with pleasant and cheerful disposition
  • Able to work independently and under stress
  • Customer service oriented and possess good communication and interpersonal skills
