You are required to provide end-to-end grants administrative support to the Hawker Centres Division. You will take responsibility in recommending improvements to existing work processes and practices and will be responsible for the following:

  • Performing end-to-end grants administration from the receipt of application, to the evaluation of grant eligibility and disbursement of grants
  • Checking and evaluating grants applications to ensure compliance to eligibility criteria & guidelines and adherence to service delivery standards
  • Conducting on-site verification checks for each grant application
  • Prompt & accurate entry of records into database systems
  • Proper filing of all application forms and supporting documents
  • Close tracking of each application and ensure prompt follow up at each processing stage
  • Handling public enquiries / appeals / feedback and be the key liaison with internal stakeholders on grant-related matters
  • Collating data, performing analysis and preparing management reports to update NEA Senior Management
  • Preparing regular report updates to SPRING on grants utilisation and other key performance indicators
  • Reviewing grants administration processes, policies, guidelines and service delivery standards
  • Attending to audit checks and queries
  • Developing, reviewing and maintaining database system
  • Monitoring grant budget utilisation, review and project cashflow requirements
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Job Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, in particular MS Excel and MS Access
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A good team player who is able to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels
  • Meticulous with a keen eye for details
  • Organised and able to multi-task, with demonstrated ability to manage processing timeline
  • Outgoing and pleasant personality
