Job Description
 
To support the works for major office renovation/fitting out works  and oversee the facilities management to ensure smooth delivery of the estate and building works are carried.
 
Main Responsibilities:
a)       Liaise with the contractors on the renovation where fitting out works may be carried out ;
b)      Ensure the schedule of works and standards are performed in accordance to the terms of contract/contractual obligations and service standards
c)      Monitor the performance of the contractors to ensure that they perform their roles effectively, and to supervise and verify work done;
d)      Liaise with the building contractor team on the building house rules, submission of specifications/documents and architectural/interior design, M&E and structural plans
e)       Liase with the contractors to ensure all works comply with the all statutory requirements (for eg. Workplace Safety and Health Act, Building and Construction Authority, Singapore Civil Defence Force, etc) and complete on time.
f)       Assist to review and prepare contract documents, including drafting specifications, evaluation and providing recommendations for the award of all building works and maintenance contracts including cleaning services, office maintenance and security etc, issuance of purchase orders and processing of invoices, monitoring expenditure
 
Job Requirements
  1. Background in Project & Facilities Management/Building, Estate Management, Engineering or equivalent, with at least 5 years of working experience in building & facility management. Candidates with experience in the management and operation of commercial property with good tenant management and communication skills and experience in public sector procurement process will have an added advantage.
  2. The officer will be required to have great problem solving skills, good project management skills, good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills and having the experience in managing multiple projects/ tasks simultaneously and ability to work independently under pressure and tight timeline.
