You will be an integral driver of a dedicated team to implement health promotion programmes within a defined population of about 1 million Singaporeans.

You will have the opportunity to influence and build healthy communities with HPB’s partners from the healthcare and community arenas.  


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Health Promotion Managers to find out what is needed to improve the health of the population under your charge.

  • With your team, implement sustainable Healthy Community Ecosystems (HCE) for the population under your charge – along the way, building great relationships with healthcare and community partners, possibly making friends for life.  

  • Manage the resources given to you to maximise efficiency (also known as getting ‘value for money'!)  



  • A tertiary qualification with t least 4 - 6 years working experience – experience in a health-related field would be an advantage, but is not a ‘must-have’  

  • Experience in leading teams and managing (preferably successful) large-scale, long-term projects

  • A good head for figures and excellent marksmanship when managing budgets would be a definite plus point.    

  • Great communication, persuasion and negotiation skills would make you stand out from the crowd.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with (very) short deadlines.  

  • Integrity and an honest desire to do the right thing – even when no one is watching.

  • Proactive, dynamic, resourceful, creative, collaborative, self-motivated, a strong desire to excel (without taking yourself too seriously) – and a good sense of humour!
