Established in April 2013 as a statutory body of the Singapore government, the Singapore Accountancy Commission collaborates with local and international communities in order to drive accountancy excellence in Singapore through talent development, professional qualification, research and thought leadership. Manager / Senior Manager, Professional Qualifications and Development

As the member of the Professional Qualifications and Development team, you are required to work very closely with relevant learning and development personnel within Accreditation Training Organisations (ATOs), Registered Learning Organisations (RLOs) and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), and to build strong relationships with these personnel at such organisations. you would be required to review and process new applications, and renewals, for accreditation of ATOs and registration of RLOs. You would also be required to facilitate and coordinate the recruitment and appointment of examination personnel, including the scheduling of meetings and monitoring of deliverables from these personnel. Your duties will include but not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

  • Examination-related
    • Prepare contracts/appointment/renewal letters and payments to examination personnel, including monitoring of the time table and production schedule
    • Facilitate and coordinate the timely release of learning aids developed by the SAC to the Candidates
    • Facilitate and coordinate trial sitting sessions and e-exam
    • Assist in conducting examination debrief sessions for examination personnel and sharing sessions for stakeholders in ATOs, RLOs and IHLs
  • Accreditation of ATOs and registration of RLO
    • Process new applications and renewals
    • Monitor validity period
    • Facilitate and coordinate payments, the creation of mock e-exams for ATOs and/or RLOs and submission of reports.
  • Ad-hoc duties
    • Facilitate and coordinate the production of the marketing collaterals for SCAQ, including promotional videos and brochures
    • Provide support at SCAQ-related events such as:
    • Sharing sessions
    • Course preview sessions
    • Recruitment fairs
    • Focus groups

Requirements

  • Professional Qualification / Certification in Accountancy, mass communication and/or marketing / business are added advantage.
  • At least 3 years relevant working experience in any line or industry (Prior similar working experience in a Big 4 Accounting Firm, University, or Private Education Institution is an added advantage.)
  • Good command of English language and writing skills and is able to give presentations and public speaking.
  • Excellent communication skills and public relations skill, Creative, self-motivated, pro-active and able to work in a fast pace environment and multi-task.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Outgoing personality who enjoys meeting new people and networking.
