As an MOH officer, you will be involved in formulating and implementing policies that guide Singapore’s healthcare ecosystem. You will work alongside a team with varied skills and backgrounds, but with the common goals of (i) promoting good health and reducing illnesses; (ii) ensuring that Singaporeans have access to good and affordable healthcare; and (iii) pursuing medical excellence. Your work will have far-reaching impact on the health and lives of Singaporeans.


You will work with relevant parties/stakeholders (e.g. ministry or cluster users) to advise them on the adoption/alignment of data analytics technologies and systems within the Ministry, and across the health sector. You will be responsible for defining the business and functional requirements of your assigned projects, and will work with the business stakeholders to understand in-depth the demands/needs of the stakeholders and translate the needs to functional requirements for implementation. You will also work with the delivery teams comprising project managers, change management specialists, business analysts and clinical subject matter experts to deliver the project.


  • Relevant background in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent, with preferably at least 6 years of experience in the information and software industry
  • Experience in translation of data business needs into technical system requirements is a must.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to understand their data needs in terms of data structure, availability and accessibility is preferred.
  • Experience in working and understanding data flow and processing systems from various data sources is preferred
  • Prior knowledge of business and IT in the health industry is an added advantage
  • Possesses strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Resourceful, proactive and able to interact well with people of all levels
