As an MOM officer, you will get to work in a range of exciting areas to help the Ministry attain its goals, including manpower policy, industrial relations, workplace safety and foreign employment regulation.

We are seeking experienced, self-driven and committed research analysts at the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Institute, where WSH research conducted in a multi-disciplinary environment is translated into evidence-based insights and solutions to policymakers and industry.

Responsibilities:

You will work with both internal and external stakeholders to conduct applied research projects related to workplace health, and contribute to the development of practical solutions to address workplace health challenges in Singapore. Your portfolio also provides exposure to in-depth data analysis on the local WSH landscape. This position will offer you the opportunities to deepen your analytical skills and work with the wider data science community.

Requirements:

•       Proficient in statistical programming and data visualization tools such as SPSS, R, STATA and Tableau. 

•       Experience in domain areas such as biostatistics, epidemiology and human factors in applied research will be advantageous.

•       Experience in handling large administrative datasets. 

•       Experience in conducting research with multiple stakeholders, preferably a mix of academia and industry partners.

•       Good working knowledge of WSH landscape, practices and solutions will be advantageous.

•       Inquisitive with strong data sense. 

•       Ability to work independently to meet deadlines. 

•       Good written and communication skills
