You will assist the Director and Deputy Director in the management of operating and development budget for State Courts, provide financial and procurement advice in regard to the New Towers, and oversee the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the Finance and Procurement Management Directorate.


Job Responsibilities

•             Collaborate with stakeholders in budget planning, administration and reviews to achieve budget marksmanship

•             Optimise financial resources in order for organisation to achieve corporate mission and objectives

•             Ensure fund sufficiency to achieve the implementation of initiatives

•             Supervise the collection of fines, court fees and cash bail to ensure accuracy and proper financial accounting

•             Supervise the operation of financial accounts

•             Prepare policy on finance and procurement matters

•             Provide guidance to the officers in implementing improvement initiatives for the Directorate and the organisation; and

•             Use data to review the areas of improvement in the finance and procurement process


Work experience and competencies

•             6-8 years of relevant working experience

•             Possess sound judgment and analytical ability

•             Able to present a compelling case in the submission of proposals

•             Possess strong leadership skills

•             Possess strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills

•             Able to work with management and staff of all levels

•             Able to influence, inspire and motivate staff to achieve results

•             Possess a strong sense of perspective and is able to analyse issues from various angles to engage and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
