Corporate Services provides the operating framework for effective use of resources in the areas of Finance, Office Management and General Administration, including the development and maintenance of sound knowledge management practices in PSD. The Cluster ensures that PSD practises financial prudence and optimises the use of resources. Corporate Services also plays an instrumental role in creating a conducive workplace that facilitates collaboration among the officers.


- Assist in the review of PSD’s internal policies and procedures on procurement matters, and appropriate processes and guidelines to ensure compliance with government IM and observance with general good operational practices.

- Evaluate tenders and quotations and prepare / provide inputs to the evaluation report for submission to the Quotation/Tender Approving Authority.

- Support the Internal Approving Authority and Tender Boards by reviewing funding and tender board submissions to ensure that projects undertaken are operationally and financially viable.

- Assist in maintaining the robustness of the internal control environment at PSD, and recommending appropriate processes and guidelines to ensure compliance with IMs. This includes the review of MOF circulars, highlighting operational and financial impact on PSD’s operations, and making appropriate recommendations where applicable.

Work Experience & Competencies

In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Strong communications, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Able to work well independently and as a team.
  • Able to manage and resolve issues involving multiple parties and customers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software like Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Be comfortable with the use of analytics and working with new technologies, e.g. Robotic Processing Automation
  • Government experience is preferred but not a pre-requisite
