As an MOH officer, you will be involved in formulating and implementing policies that guide Singapore’s healthcare ecosystem. You will work alongside a team with varied skills and backgrounds, but with the common goals of (i) promoting good health and reducing illnesses; (ii) ensuring that Singaporeans have access to good and affordable healthcare; and (iii) pursuing medical excellence. Your work will have far-reaching impact on the health and lives of Singaporeans.

Responsibilities

You will assist in the formulation and implementation of evidence-based policies to control the spread of communicable diseases, and evaluate the effectiveness of disease control and preparedness strategies to protect the health of Singaporeans. You will also be required to conduct epidemiological surveillance, and respond to and manage disease outbreaks.

Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years of public health related work experience
  • Analytical and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team with other public health professionals
  • Able to work under pressure and beyond office hours during outbreaks
  • Excellent organisational skills and resourcefulness
