Established in 2001, the Health Promotion Board’s (HPB) vision is to build a nation of healthy people.

We aim to empower residents in Singapore to attain optimal health, increase the quality and years of healthy life, and prevent illnesses, disability and premature death.

To achieve this, HPB drives national health promotion and disease prevention programmes, spearheads health education initiatives and creates a supportive environment in Singapore where healthy lifestyle options are available and accessible for healthy living every day.

HPB’s health promotion effort never stops growing. The CIP Division has the unique opportunity to create and build long-lasting relationships with our partners, and to cultivate these partnerships to develop mutually beneficial collaborations that will support our programmes and strategies. 
 
This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to engage and establish partnerships with a diverse spectrum of companies. It will sharpen your competency in developing and executing meaningful partnership propositions, integrating partnerships into HPB’s holistic programmes, marketing and communications effort. It will also strengthen your project execution and management skills, as you will be involved in key initiatives of HPB. 
 
Responsibilities
To be effective, you have to be a dynamic team player. You must possess strong relationship-building skills and are apt to see win-win opportunities with partners. You must also possess strong project execution skills, be able to effect change, garner resources, and manage people and projects (without direct control of people or resources).
 
You will:
 
  • Develop strategic partnership initiatives, identify new partners and partnership opportunities, and develop associate policies and processes to support these initiatives.
  • Market these partnership initiatives; bridging partner and HPB’s interest to reach mutually beneficial partnerships agreement.
  • Execute and implement the partnership programme through working with internal stakeholders and external partners; conduct end-of-programme review with customers, and thereafter providing feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Constantly improve the processes of partnership acquisition, selling, development, implementation and retention, and uphold professionalism and partnership satisfaction.
  • Develop close working relationship with internal stakeholders to engage, identify and support partnership opportunities.
  • Actively participate in execution of key initiatives and projects, proactive in one’s responsibilities, so as to launch initiatives successfully and on time.
  • Actively maintain and enhance relationships with partners. 
Requirements
  • Possess a relevant qualification in Management, Marketing, Business or related discipline.
  • Have at least 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in a partner management, business development, sales or marketing-related role with proven track record of building strong customer and stakeholder relationships at various levels.
  • Have proven track record in executing mid to large scale programmes and initiatives; and demonstrated competency in project management, project operations and launches.
  • Be creative, savvy and results-focused in establishing and sustaining partnerships and possess good business acumen.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal & relationship building skills to maintain strong partnerships and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Have good leadership and teamwork qualities to engage, motivate and work with team members.
  • Possess strong verbal, written and presentation skills coupled with strong negotiation and influencing skills; Bilingual capability will be a strong advantage.
