Responsibilities

As Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting senior management and partner key stakeholders to drive organisational shifts that MCCY and our agencies need to make to be future-ready to achieve our mission of making our Singapore a Home. You will coordinate and manage the Ministry’s efforts to drive Public Sector Transformation (PST), as well as work with various Divisions and MCCY agencies to monitor and evaluate the performance of these transformation efforts to ensure coherence across the Ministry family and the Whole of Government. Your work may include, but are not limited to:

  • Be the point of contact for MCCY to coordinate PST initiatives and projects within MCCY family
  • Work with the MCCY agencies to identify and coordinate key service journeys / projects to ensure coherence and alignment to strategic outcomes
  • Monitor PST projects across the Ministry family to track progress and ensure alignment to the MCCY family transformation plan
  • Analyse trends and drivers that will affect Singapore and the public service, and determine the optimal changes we need to make for operating models, organisational structure, capability development, process improvements and the impact of new technologies
  • Communicate public sector transformation to officers and agencies across MCCY family to support them in the transformation journey

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in strategic planning, project management and driving organisational excellence and change
  • A collaborator with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Resourceful and able to deliver under pressure
  • Well-informed about innovation initiatives in the public and/or corporate sectors and cutting-edge technologies that will reshape the way we work
