Job Scope:

You will be responsible for developing policies and initiatives to help Singaporeans achieve a secure retirement.

You will work closely with CPF Board, MOF and MND and other key stakeholders to develop and implement CPF policies and initiatives that help Singaporeans meet their retirement, healthcare and housing needs. These efforts include developing and reviewing schemes to help CPF members grow their CPF savings and accumulate these savings as a stream of retirement income for life, balancing the use of CPF savings for housing and retirement needs, and improving CPF collection for self-employed persons.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of working experience, preferably in investment management or the public sector
  • Strong interest, and preferably prior background, in labour economics or social policies (e.g. relevant degree, previous research work or jobs). 
  • Strong analytical skills. Experience in quantitative analysis, modelling and assessment of financial risks will be an advantage.
  • Good communicator with strong inter-personal and leadership skills who can forge effective partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Good political acumen, and ability to understand and shape public sentiments
  • Ability to exercise both empathy and firmness when managing complex appeal cases
