The Auditor-General's Office (AGO) is an independent organ of state and the national auditor. Our mission is to audit and report to the President and Parliament on the proper accounting and use of public resources to enhance public accountability. AGO conducts various audits and our observations include system weaknesses, non-compliance with control procedures or legislation, and instances of excess, extravagance, or gross inefficiency leading to waste in the use of public funds and resources. We are looking for candidates who possess good leadership qualities, strong drive for achievements, excellent analytical abilities, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

You will be part of the Corporate Development Department responsible for knowledge management, office administration and management, procurement and business continuity matters. 

The key scope of work includes the following:

Knowledge Management

- Serve as a key member of the project team to develop and implement knowledge management system, including e-registry and email archival systems
- Assist the Chief Records Officer in reviewing, developing and implementing records management policies
- Coach and guide staff in maintenance of official records and the records management system

Office Management & Procurement

- Oversee office management and office administration matters, including asset management
- Liaise with building owner and contractors on office leases and maintenance matters
- Review and develop procurement policies and practices. Personally handle the more complex procurement buys
- Budget management and monitoring 
- Approval of small value purchases
- Certification of payments

Business Continuity and Security Management

- Develop, implement and review business continuity plans
- Oversee office security-related matters 

Requirements

- Singapore Citizenship
- At least 8 years of work experience in procurement and office management and administration
- Has experience working on knowledge management systems and in records management
- Pro-active and able to work well independently
- Possess strong communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills
- Hands-on and possess good project management skills
- Knowledge of public sector financial and procurement policies, and experience in implementing knowledge management system is an advantage

Remuneration and designation offered will depend on the candidate's relevant experience.
