To achieve this, HPB drives national health promotion and disease prevention programmes, spearheads health education initiatives and creates a supportive environment in Singapore where healthy lifestyle options are available and accessible for healthy living every day.

Strategic Planning & Collaborations Division drives and guides the Board's direction in ensuring good health of the population by identifying strategic thrusts, providing evidence-informed recommendations and establishing strategic collaborations, locally and internally.  This is to achieve HPB's vision of making Singapore a nation of healthy people, and itself being recognised as a local and international authority on health promotion.

As Senior Manager (Collaborations), the job holder develops relationships and coordinates interactions with HPB’s collaboration partners, including WHO and overseas health promotion foundations, for learning opportunities, benchmarking as well as to profile HPB’s thought leadership where appropriate. Job holder will also be asked to oversee some aspects of HPB’s strategic/ corporate planning work.

Job Responsibilities

·         Prioritise key collaboration partner including for knowledge exchange, benchmarking and research

·         Profile HPB’s thought leadership at local and international platforms, such as conferences, training programmes and visits

·         Drive and manage study visits for the Board

·         Drive and manage relationship with the respective divisions pertaining to corporate and division level strategy KPIs

·         To analyse ans scrub through Senior Management and Board presentations on Board’s strategic narratives including 5 Year Strategic Plan and annual work plans

 Job Requirements

·         Qualifications preferably in public health, international relations, economics, or social science

·         Minimum 3 years handling international and or collaboration work

·         Preferably with public health experience

·         Strong analytical and integrative skills

·         Ability to engage & influence stakeholders with a dynamic & collaborative style

·         Excellent communication & presentation skills
