Responsibilities

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for overseeing and managing NRF’s Health and Biomedical Sciences (HBMS) programmes as well as planning and strategising new initiatives in this space. 

Your duties will include managing the HBMS programmes that are supported by the National Research Foundation; working with other agencies and stakeholders to develop and coordinate national initiatives, engaging the HBMS community as well as other activities to foster closer links between the different segments in the HBMS ecosystem to achieve NRF’s national objectives and goals.

 

Requirements

  • Strong tertiary (including postgraduate) education in Biomedical Engineering, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Medicine or related disciplines;
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in an administrative/policy-making position, or strong interest in policy/strategy formulation;
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills (written and verbal);
  • Independent, meticulous, organised, resourceful, able to work in a fast-paced environment and to perform under pressure; and
  • Good team player.
