Job Scope

Senior Executive / Manager / Senior Manager (HRM) plays an integral role in developing strategic HR policies to ensure the career development of civilian officers in MHA. The position provides an excellent opportunity for you to be involved in the development and implementation of HR policies to attract, develop and retain officers in MHA.

Recruitment

The jobholder will review, design and sharpen recruitment strategies and policies to attract the right talent.

Career Development

The jobholder will manage the career development of officers in the Civilian Schemes through various platforms such as postings and secondments.

Ranking and Promotion

The jobholder will manage the full spectrum of performance appraisal processes i.e. ranking and promotion for civilian officers in the Ministry. These include secretariat duties for ranking sessions and putting up recommendations to the ranking board and PSD for approval thereafter.

Recognition

Recognise officers’ contributions through the administration of various awards.

Relationship Manager for MHA HQ Divisions

The jobholder will be the business partner for officers (across schemes of service) in selected MHA HQ Division, to look into and provide timely delivery of HR support.

Others

The jobholder takes on other ad-hoc duties assigned by his/her supervisors to meet Ministry's / HR mission and strategic needs.

Job Requirements:

a) Enthusiastic and meticulous in his/her work.

b) Dynamic and committed.

c) Able to work independently and at the same time, a good team player with strong interpersonal skills.

d) Good writing and communication skills.

All new appointees will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
