Overview of Division

The Healthy Food and Dining (HFD) division aim is to make healthier dining choices as integral part of Singaporeans’ lives. Through our programmes, such as the Healthier Choice Symbol Programme or the Healthier Dining Programme, we enable Singaporeans make healthier dining choices easily, regardless of whether they choose to dine in or out.

 

Responsibilities

This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to develop national strategies and implement innovative programs to help Singapore residents make healthier dietary choices. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to increase the supply and demand of healthier meals in the marketplace.

To be effective, you have to be a dynamic team player. Together with other team members, you are also expected to drive key Campaigns and big-scale projects. You must possess strong project management skills, negotiation skills, be able to effect change, garner resources, and manage people and projects.

You will drive strategic end-to-end supply demand nationwide projects to achieve HPB's objective of population health promotion by:

  • Establishing and managing integrated Campaign plans that would include organising, digitising and other Campaign-oriented strategies.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to obtain buy-in to ensure the robustness of the Campaigns and projects during its development;
  • Proposing creative and relevant solutions to secure, maintain and grow the supply of healthier meals within F&B setting; including hawker centres and coffeeshops, etc.
  • Undertaking selected business development and transformation projects that involve working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proposing strategies that are informed by data and specifically to review and adjust strategies to tailor to different segments of audience and/or different circumstances on the ground
  • Supporting management with risk assessments and mitigation activities
  • Ensuring that the related key performance indicators are met with appropriate utilisation of budget
  • Reporting regularly on progress and developments to management and teams

Key Competencies

  • Have proven track record in executing large scale Campaigns and/or projects involving members of public; and demonstrated strong competency in project management and project operations;
  • Possess excellent interpersonal & relationship building skills to maintain collaborative partnerships and communicate effectively at all levels;
  • Possess strong verbal, written and presentation skills coupled with strong negotiation and influencing skills; Bilingual capability will be an advantage.
  • Strong judgement and critical reasoning skills, with the ability to navigate new situations
  • Be creative, possess good analytical skills and yet is attentive to details.

 

Requirements

  • Possess relevant qualifications preferably in the following discipline (e.g. Business Administration, Marketing, or any health-related discipline)
  • More than 3 years of working experience, preferably in the area of project or Campaign management and implementation roles
  • Previous experience in marketing, business development and collaborations across multiple stakeholders will be preferable
  • Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision making and Campaign development
  • A track record of working with diverse partners
  • Willingness to work during weekends when required.
