As an Assistant Manager/ Senior Executive at the Operational Excellence Department, you will be part of a team that is responsible to drive NEA’s efforts in promoting and cultivating an operational excellence culture within NEA to better deliver professional, consistent and people centric public services through routine operations.

Your primary job responsibilities will include the following:

  • Assist with conceptualisation, management and implementation of projects that make use of emerging technologies e.g. Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) to gain new insights and improve work efficiency. This will include operationalisation of “proof-of-concepts” and entail engaging different departments to understand their needs.
  • Develop and execute project plan for AR and VR initiatives so as to drive project implementation on time and within budget by effectively managing resources, budget and forging collaborations with other departments to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Ensure project issues are resolved timely or escalated to the respective stakeholders for attention.
  • Develop, implement and maintain vendor contracting and closure process for contracted projects along with management of vendor relations, contractual terms, quality and performance.
  • Ensure financial prudency and prompt payment for contracts.
  • Explore and develop other new technology initiatives to promote Operations excellence in NEA’s operations work.
  • Provide secretariat support for internal meetings.

The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:

  • Knowledge and keen interest in emerging technologies such as AR and VR
  • Knowledge of Multimedia and 3D modelling tools such as Unity3D, Unreal and prior experience in project management will be an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Facilitation skills, extensive organising capabilities and foresightedness to drive projects 
  • Team player, proactive, resourceful and tech savvy
  • Strong critical thinking, presentation and writing skills
  • Responsible and accountable
