Responsibilities:

You will be part of the Engagement and Social Media Unit that is responsible for the visual content production, driving social and digital marketing initiatives for the Ministry of Law. The key responsibilities of the unit are detailed as follows:

• Visual content production, distribution & amplification

• Social & digital marketing through paid, owned & earned media

• Partnerships with credible third parties to amplify communications & messaging

• Influencer engagement to broaden & deepen reach across key demographics

• Social analytics & sentiment analysis

• Community/channel management & development

Your area of responsibilities entails the following:

Content Development

  • Create captivating and shareable visual assets optimised for specific platforms & target audiences
  • Respond swiftly & diligently to trend jacking opportunities & high-priority content, messaging & outreach
  • Ensure creatives are appealing, engaging and up-to-date
  • Curate & edit existing content for social distribution
  • Educate internal departments on best practices for social content creation

Requirements:

  • Academic Training in Mass Communication, Marketing, Arts & Social Sciences, Analytics or a related discipline
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite – Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop etc.
  • Preferably a minimum of 2 years’ experience in content production tailored for social media platforms, including photo/video production, design and editing.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to analyse and interpret social data (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights etc.)
  • Demonstrated abilities in using social media monitoring tools
  • Excellent communicator, strong language skills and able to adapt writing style and tone based on platforms and target audience
  • Driven and self-motivated, possess a positive attitude to work
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous with attention to details
