Senior Policy Administrator

The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) is responsible for the security of Singapore's borders, against the entry of undesirable persons and cargo through our land, air and sea checkpoints.  ICA also performs immigration and registration functions in the issuance of travel documents and identity cards to Singapore citizens, and various immigration passes and permits to foreigners.

Policy Administration Branch (PAB) is responsible for reviewing and administering policies to meet national objectives on immigration, naturalisation and registration.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analysis of data, review of complex issues that cut across various policies and work units, as well as administers immigration, naturalisation and registration policies.
  • Provide secretariat support for intra/inter-Ministry/agency meetings.
  • Assume staff authority over the line units responsible for immigration, naturalisation and registration functions.

Job Requirements

  • Independent, resourceful problem-solver, and capable of being a team player.
  • Inquisitive and analytical mind, with an ability to multi-task.
  • Strong written and spoken communications skills.
  • Ability to communicate and work with decision-makers, peers and team members, as well as relevant stakeholders across various Ministries and government agencies.
  • Identify and analyse the broader political, social and economic developments, both regionally and internationally, that could impact ICA’s policies.
