As an R&D Project Scientist, you will be involved in the research and development of molecular
diagnostics for neuro-degenerative diseases as well as to provide academic and technical support in the
project. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
• Provide project design and technical support to senior researchers;
• Supervise junior researchers and students;
• Manage correspondences, prepare research protocols and laboratory reports;
• Plan and coordinate clinical sample collection and analysis;
• Conduct experiments to meet the delivery of research aims; and
• Manage financial matters such as requisition of purchases and processing of claims.
• At least 1 year of relevant research experience and proficient in Molecular Biology and
• Experience in research and experimental design
• Experience in good laboratory practices and supervision of laboratory staff
• Proficient in IT skills such as data analysis and programming, development of diagnostic kits as
well as experience in neurodegenerative diseases would be an advantage
