The Central Provident Fund (CPF) is a social security savings scheme jointly supported by employees, employers and the Government. Its basic purpose is to help CPF members meet primary needs like shelter, food, clothing and health services in their old age or when they are no longer able to work. Benefits offered are to help meet one or more needs of the CPF Member in his retirement. They include withdrawals by the Member for retirement, permanent disablement, home ownership and health care. The amounts available depend on how much the Member has saved in the CPF.

The CPF Board are trustees for the CPF savings of Members. We aim to provide CPF Members, in a cost-effective manner, the widest range of quality services possible. We seek also to help employers pay CPF contributions promptly and correctly in as efficient and convenient a way as possible. Where we can, we make our assets and services available to help meet Singapore's social and economic objectives, thereby improving the quality of life of all Singaporeans and CPF Members.

As trustee of the nation’s retirement savings, the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board helps 3.8 million CPF members save for their retirement, healthcare and housing needs. Every CPF Ambassador plays a vital role in helping Singaporeans save for a secure retirement. For the benefit of citizens and employers, the Agency Services Group implements and administers schemes, such as GST Voucher, Workfare Income Supplement, on behalf of various Government agencies. The work is diverse and dynamic, giving officers the opportunity to collaborate with various government agencies and stakeholders to enhance the lives of Singaporeans from all walks of life. Job Responsibilities

  • Develops strategic frameworks and governance structures to enhance CPFB’s ability to respond and implement national schemes effectively for the Government
  • Develops relationships and drive ongoing engagements with key stakeholders on strategic issues
  • Drives transformation initiatives to develop new capabilities through adoption of emerging technologies to future-proof scheme operation, including to secure the required funding from key stakeholders
  • Harmonise and integrate common functionalities across schemes to reap economics of scale, cost and resource savings
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to achieve holistic and effective outcomes

Job Requirements

  • 7 - 12 years' working experience, with exposure to both operational work as well as corporate planning and strategy
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication and written skills
  • Excellent analytical abilities to synthesise information across various sources and balance competing considerations
  • Foresight to carve out plausible strategic and tactical interventions
  • Self-driven, resourceful, with strong leadership skills and able to multitask
  • Experience in public sector’s Management for Manpower Framework and Reinvestment Fund process is an added advantage
