Job Description

As a Manager/ Senior Manager, Budget and Procurement in the Information Technology (IT) Division, you will be part of the team that manage the whole lifecycle of the procurement of IT for MOE Headquarters (HQ) and schools, to support Singapore’s vision of building a smart nation.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Performing the full spectrum of procurement activities including securing projects funding, reviewing quotations and tender documents, preparing procurement papers as well as management of contracts and payments for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) projects
• Working with project owners on projects funding and requirements as well as ensuring compliance with procurement and financial guidelines
• Formulating, reviewing and implementing best practices and governance for procurement and financial processes
• Conducting briefings and sharing sessions on procurement and financial guidelines
• Liaising with auditors on financial and procurement matters
• Conducting data analytics on procurement and financial records


Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in procurement
• Good knowledge of procurement and contract management as well as database management
• Familiar with the use of data analytics tools such as tableau and Microsoft Excel application
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and resourceful team player with an eye for detail
• Able to work under pressure and tight project deadlines
