As a Network Officer, you will assist Network Manager of the Infrastructure Support Team to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of the SPF networks.

You will be placed under the Technical Support Officer Scheme.



As a Network Officer, you will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of the SPF networks in ensuring that these are always operational at all times.

You will be accountable for the smooth operation of the SPF networks by ensuring that the networks appliances are well-maintained as well as to provide close monitoring, quick response and escalation of faults or incidents to the outages. 

In addition, you will work closely with project teams to ensure the network configurations are properly setup for newer systems or changes to be properly integrated with the backend infrastructures.



  • Preferably with at least 2 years’ experience in managing LAN and WAN networks;

  • Possess a CCNA certification or other higher and relevant networking professional certification like CCNP is at advantage;

  • Knowledge and experience in maintaining IPv4 and IPv6 network;

  • Knowledge and experience in managing Network Management tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG or HP OpenView;

  • Knowledge in the area of IT Security and experience in handling Security Appliances such as firewalls;

  • Possess experience and skills in project management

  • Ability to work independently in troubleshooting of Networks incident;

  • Ability to manage in a network environment over multiple sites;
