The successful job applicant will contribute to the overall operations of The Republic Cultural Centre (TRCC) and Student Development at Republic Polytechnic, amongst other duties relating to the operations of an arts centre. 

  • Provide production and technical support for OSG and RP events/festivals with the assistance of technical support officers (TSO).
  • Provide production and technical support for all hirers of TRCC facilities with the assistance of TSO.
  • Coordinate maintenance for TRCC technical equipment and facilities.
  • Execute Capital and Operational purchases within OSG/TRCC
  • Provide administrative support to OSG and RP wide student related activities.



  • Relevant qualifications with at least 3 years of experience working in Technical Theatre, Production Management and at least 1 area of specialisation (Lights, Audio, Video Production, Staging and Rigging)
  • Must be conversant and familiar with WSH requirements
  • Those with prior working experience in the performing arts industry would have an added advantage, and other experience in one or more of the following areas would be preferred:
    • Large scare music concerts
    • Dance Production
    • Stage Management
  • Highly driven and enjoy working with youths.
  • Good with documentation, research and data analysis to improve TRCC’s operation and technical support.
  • Good command of English and oral communication skills.
  • Pro-active and service-oriented in engaging all project stakeholders
  • Able to run training and enrichment workshops
  • Excellent administrative and time management skills.
  • Must be IT savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other Theatre software applications
