Responsibilities

You will assist the department to manage the regulation of trade unions in Singapore and ensure that trade union activities are conducted in a lawful, fair and democratic manner, to promote good industrial relations and achieve favourable business and work conditions for economic and social progress in Singapore. 

You will be involved in the review and implementation of trade union policies.

You will also be an account manager of a portfolio of trade unions. You will engage the unions to understand the issues on the ground, and offer advice and follow up with the unions on regulatory matters.

You will assist to manage the Registry’s records and perform data analysis for statistical reports. 

You will also be involved in the development and enhancement of IT systems to enable trade unions to fulfil their reporting and other statutory obligations efficiently.

 

Requirements

  • Professional certification in Accountancy/Law or basic knowledge of accountancy/legal principles would be an advantage.
  • Experience in policy, legal, compliance, regulatory, investigation or audit work is preferred
  • Attentive to details and possess strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and have professional work ethics.
  • Effective team player
