Job Description

As an Assistant Producer in the Educational Technology Division, you will assist Producers in the production of video programmes for teaching and learning as well as for communications.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Talent spotting and assessing potential actors
• Liaising with MOE divisions, schools and external organisations for reconnaissance, set-ups, auditions and recordings
• Scheduling production rundowns
• Researching and assisting in design of costumes, making of props and preparation of production sets
• Tracking continuity in recording
• Conducting rehearsals and test recordings
• Logging video footage for production
• Assisting producers in directing crew and talents in studio, indoor and outdoor recordings
• Assuming producer’s role during multiple crew and simultaneous recordings
• Managing talent payment, music cue sheets for copyright clearance with industry locally and overseas


• At least one year of experience in media, video production, communications, advertising and/or related discipline
• An energetic and dynamic person who communicates and works well with people of all levels
• A team player who has initiative and can offer fresh and creative ideas
• Familiar with video production grammar and language
• Capable of handling both English and Malay Language productions
