SG Cares is a national movement to support Singaporeans’ efforts in building a more caring and inclusive home for all. The movement invites Singaporeans to put values into action through active volunteerism, ground-up efforts and everyday acts of care. It also aims to build capability across various sectors and organisations so as to create conditions and grow opportunities for volunteerism.

You will be part of the team in the SG Cares Office tasked to work with community-based partners to grow volunteerism across the different towns in Singapore. To achieve this, you will need to understand the local volunteering landscape and needs. This involves engaging local planning agencies and community stakeholders. You will be responsible to identify gaps and opportunities, facilitate coordination and partnerships, to collectively address local issues with the involvement of the community and grassroots. You will also be the main liaison from the SG Cares Office to facilitate the efforts of community-based partners playing the role of Volunteer Centres for the different towns in Singapore. 


  • 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in operations and community engagement
  • Applicants with experience in stakeholder management and working with community groups are preferred
  • Strong written, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive in engaging diverse stakeholders at various levels
