Civil Service College (CSC) Singapore is a statutory board under the Public Service Division, Prime Minister’s Office. We are the central learning institution for the Singapore Public Service and we play a pivotal role in partnering government ministries and agencies to develop people for a first class public service.

CSC brings together public service officers from diverse backgrounds and provides them opportunities to plug into a service-wide network to exchange views, build shared ethos and perspectives, creating a rich environment for dialogue, knowledge sharing and learning.

Through our programmes and services, CSC aims to build commitment and strategic capacity in governance, leadership, public administration and management for the Singapore Public Service.

INN x CSC is an innovation sandbox that has to continually look out for the best in class in learning innovations and learning experience design. As such, we are requesting interns to support in the horizon scanning and research to deepen our knowledge in these areas. We are also looking to the interns to organise and coordinate learning journeys to leading organisations and to support in the design and delivery of learning sessions (INNexperience) for CSC IDOs and Associate Trainers.  

Project Description

 

This project entails the following areas:

  • Design and implement a research project to help INN deepen the understanding of Learning Experience Design

  • Conduct horizon scanning and research on leading innovators in Learning Experience Design

  • Organise and coordinate learning journeys to leading institutions/organisations in learning innovation

  • Design and develop learning resources for the topic of Learning Experience Design

  • Support in the design and development of learning sessions (INNexperience) for CSC IDOs and Associate Trainers.

 

Project Requirements

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Literature review and research

  • Able to analyse and synthesize information 

  • Able to design and organize learning programmes 

  • Interest in Human Capital Development, Learning and Development

  • Open minded and willing to learn

  • Adaptable and comfortable working in ambiguity

  • Creative and willing to experiment with ideas

  • Self-starter, able to work independently
